Neogo connection

Hi
I just bouth my first Mac and have been told that I cannot connect to the internet on it using my Neotel Neogo modem as it only supports up to Mac OS 10.5.
Has anyone out there had this problem?

There is a 10.6 compatible version of the drivers from Huawei. Google it.
The driver that ships with the Neogo can be installed by digging into the installer app (show package contents) and installing from the pkg.
