Neotel Prepaid outgoing SMTP server no longer available

Being told that you can no longer use the neotel smtp outgoing server if you on a prepaid service as of 1 November 2015. This really sucks as when I originally went this route it was available and I could send emails. Why is Neotel doing this and is there a work around?

This was the notification I got.. Maybe call the Call centre and enquire..

Dear Valued Customer,
NEOMAIL NOTICE:
This serves as notice that as of 1 November, 2015, the NeoMail email service will be migrated and will start running live on a new and improved platform. The new platform will be on the best-in-its class hardware, coupled with the latest versions of the Email Exchange platform with the latest patches and up-to-date security.
The NeoMail Relay system which has been available to all NeoMail mailboxes and all external email connectivity will be permanently shut down with effect from 1 November 2015. This action is a further enhancement on the NeoSecure platform and serves to dispel SPAM attacks and nefarious email and Internet activity.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION CHANGES:
Email services will run as per normal, with seamless migration transition. NeoMail users will only experience an enhanced email environment. Only active NeoMail mailboxes will be migrated and only mailboxes in an active status will be migrated (constant activity of in and outbound traffic).
Should your email account be unavailable after the aforementioned migration date, it will be deemed as being inactive as
of 1 October 2015 for a period of less than 12 months. Although the new platform will be a subscription based service as of
1 November 2015, all active accounts will be migrated without charge nor for any subscriptions.
NEOMAIL STAND-ALONE MAILBOX TERMINATION:
The current Neomail.co.za mailbox service will be terminated on 30th September 2015.

This service is to be superseded by the Hosted Exchange service offering. As per the aforementioned service description, all currently active accounts will be honoured for the contract term.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Should you not respond to this notice, it will be assumed that the mailbox is no longer required and it will be terminated with effect from 1 November 2015.
