Guys.. i need help.. haha.. look im in this situation.. and i got a couple of questions.. now im busy with a project in netbeans 6.7 and it has many SQL statements and so on.. which obviously means im using a database.. well look.. i wanna know:
1. If i create a Text Field, lets name it "txtField1" and i wanna use an if statement to see whether or not that Text Field has anything typed in it. how would i go about doing that?? What methods or wateva do i use??
2. Once i have completed my project in netbeans (eventually) how can i make that project, an installation file, if im callin it the correct thing.. basically i wanna make it an application that i can just go onto any1s computer and install the application and the project works. Even if they dont have netbeans. Basically i want to give it to an end user that knws nothing of java.. they just see the GUI and use the program/project that i have created..
