Those 430s that NAC purchased had a hard life working in some really inhospitable places with less than stellar maintenance records. There was some debate (on Facebook aviation groups) when they initially purchased them which was shut down by their lawyers. Hopefully, it's not the case of "People told them so". RIP to all of those involved.

The News24 article implies a difference in the sequence of events:

Conspiracy theory, they got rid of jackson and then removed the witnesses and evidence to his condition, no loose ends.

The hospital and colleagues are immensely sombre today; mourning. Their death leaves a huge hole.

From avcom forum (2) Bell 430 down N3 Colenso KZN - Page 3 - AvCom

I was at the site soon after the accident. Beautiful weather, no wind and very sad. No power lines anywhere in the area. They flew over a farm house very low apparently, just before the accident. The debris field is large, 400 meters long. Fire on impact and not much left of the body of heli. The tail was pretty un damaged and 200 meters before the main impact.
RIP fellow aviators.
