This reminds me.
Time to cancel Netflix.
I've had about enough Princess BS to last me a few lifetimes and the wokeness disease had all but destroyed most content. Will check back in one day when the world is cured from rampant liberalism.

Nah the days of Netflix actually suggesting relevant content is long gone.
Their matching score makes no sense.

I really miss the days of the 5-star rating, that thing really worked well.

I agree, but they also need to add in a "no thumbs option" for shows which you didn't feel very strongly about either way.

So:
1. 2 Thumbs Down
2. 1 Thumb Down
3. 0 Thumbs Up/Down
4. 1 Thumbs Up
5. 2 Thumbs Up

They could also simplify the interface and just assign stars to the numbers on the left instead of having a bunch of confusing thumbs.
 
The only thing that should be getting two thumbs is porn... preferably home made porn
 
If I thumbs up a show then they cancel it. If I double thumbs up a show... Will they then cancel it even quicker?

They are basically re-inventing star ratings with thumbs.

From a UX perspective, everyone already understands stars rating. They now have to explain this silly double thumb system.
 
If I watch a movie to the end I consider that 1 thumb up, if I give it a thumb up I consider that 5.
This totally screws with my system of thumbs, I think I better rage quit netflix.
