Either another way will emerge, or we'll use Kat and they get zero. Simple

As long as they leave the Roku app as it is, I am happy. Will take k@k from the wife if they mess with the Roku again.

Isn't it amazing, the movie studios tell big business what to do.
I suspect eventually the movie studios are the new world order we really need to fear. Already they are more powerful than the government.

I wonder how significant the drop in revenue for Netflix will be - would be interesting to see how much VPN users contribute.

At least we know that Netflix themselves aren't motivated to do this so hopefully they are just doing the bare minimum to please the movie studios. Also annoying in that the majority would go back to torrenting instead of paying a fee to watch these older movies and series so the studios are probably also losing out.

If they block you from their site, can you still cancel the service?

As for me let's say i totally lose access to their site i'll just need to cancel the recurring netflix payment in my paypal account

Do you think they'll be a new different way to bypass its servers without using VPN's

Kinda stupid off them and the studios. At least this way people are still paying to watch their product. All this will do is increase piracy.

They took TPB down, piracy still going strong today as if nothing happened. Now if this is pushed on, piracy shall soar.

What alternative is there if Netfix and hulu is out?

Openview?

I'm tired of being shafted by monochoice. Come April/May another increase is on the way. I am willing to continue paying a reasonable fee for the content like I'm doing with Netflix , but if they don't want my money i won't force them.

Hence my question what alternative do we have ?

Monochoice is a joke, but with netflix and hulu gone... I don't see any other option the family is not going to enjoy no TV

Netflix says they haven't changed anything with regards to how they handle VPN services. I think we good for now.
