Yea

Lots
Make your own :p
Or use a VPN (pm me, I have a sub for PIA I'm not using)

I have a VPS in US, DE and UK that is looking for a purpose.

Let me finish this home Server attempt then I'll pm you, as I can't let it just fail, I'll feel like failure and die

What is the true total cost that I need to pay to Watch Netflix?

Also hulu or Netflix?

Here is what got debited this month for mine:

Unotelly:

R63.19

Netflix:

R81.11

Taking into consideration my uncapped 2mb line with Mweb / Telkom is costing around R500 p/m

We were paying DSTV +/- R625.00 a month excluding the uncapped line + rental, we are therefore saving R625.00 a month for the last 2 years and have not missed DSTV or any of the crap repeats that came with it

R625.00 x 24 months = ?

you do the math

I will be honest the only thing i have an issue with is the throttling

I have so far been throttled 3 times for exceeding my 70Gb a month over 30 days limit (My girlfriend lives on Netflix and i still download / browse quite a bit so the two tend to add up)

but for the most part if i behave myself on Youtube etc, then the Netflix alone will be difficult to exceed the bandwidth allowance

You might have the streaming to 2 screens option which i think is a dollar more

Didn't the price also go up recently? I think older members weren't affected (yet), so newer members are paying more.

Yeah I'm on the 2 screen plan. Luckily my price is locked until 2016 :)

Also depending on the bank you with, they tend to charge different fees for converting dollars to rands (on my nedbank statement there is a fee for "international currency" )

I'm being charged R102 for Netflix and i signed up a couple of years ago before they did the price plans changes and it shows its locked for 2years. Maybe i chose a region with additional tax or something which postal codes don't get charged for tax?

The price went up last year but existing clients were exempt until May 2016. Since then they've again increased prices for UK customers by 50p.

Current pricing for a new Standard (HD) account is $8.99/pm

Which postal code you chose? I used beverly hills (hey its the first one i could think off :D ) and latest debit was R97.90. Also depends on which day you debited so if dollar super strong on that time its a bit more also from what i noticed with my friends the guys on FNB pay more

took the 8.99 option and R111 was debited to my account. Rand getting weaker or New York zipcode was the wrong option :/
