Netflix surge leaves rivals in its dust

Netflix extended its lead over the streaming competition, adding 8.05 million customers in the second quarter and raising estimates for annual sales and profit margins.

The subscriber results, announced in a shareholder letter Thursday, topped expectations in every region around the world and included 2.8 million new customers in the Asia-Pacific. Analysts expected a total of 4.87 million on average.

SARS are happy.

This Netflix venture mirrors the wider investment strategy in the sub-Saharan region between 2016 and 2022, where 71% of funds were allocated to South Africa, equating to R2.3 billion. A substantial segment, R900 million, was directed towards SMMEs, which generated over 7,000 jobs and contributed R600 million to SARS.

Complain? I know nothing of Showmax. They have nothing that will topple Netflix or any other streaming service. Just a pipedream.

Showmax has improved in its own right, but agree doubt it could compare at all. DStv itself used to be on top with movies, Showmax hasn't really come close to that.. yet.
Won't comment about series as we've stopped watching all but a few due to the Hollywood woke avalanche.

Have 3x daily articles published here which consist of a mix of hot air "piracy" threats as well as rinse-repeats pretty much like the repeats on their product offering
Cry to the competition commission about Netflix being so mean to them

You forgot, increase the prices of their subscriptions, and beg for BJ's
