Netflix receives more Emmy nominations than HBO

Netflix has received more nominations for Emmy Awards than HBO, breaking the TV network’s 17-year streak, TechCrunch reported.

While HBO received 108 nominations this year, only three fewer than last year, Netflix had a total of 112 nominations – up from 91 last year.

I can see where this is going. Obama is making a show with Netflix. Netflix has lost a lot of popularity in the US as a result, which they would like to make up from other sources. Netflix is a leftist organisation trying to promote the cause om American Dem's.

Netflix is preparing to cultivate interest in their new content in preparation for Obama's visit to SA later this year. Obama is trying to spread HIS brand of failed politics to anyone who will listen and Netflix will be there to sell the tickets.

So Netflix got more Emmy nominations than HBO because Obama is visiting SA...

Later this year? He's giving a speech at the Wanderers tonight.

Also..... What? Netflix hasn't lost popularity, their subscriber base is increasing, although at a slower pace than last year.

Yes you are right.
Their popularity is growing in SA slower than last year.
They have lost popularity in the US though due to their leftist views.

Hardly.

Additionally...

The company said its international subscriber base increased by 5.5 million members to 68.3 million, better than the 4.9 million additions the company predicted. In the US, Netflix added 2 million streaming customers, for a total of 56.7 million, beating its 1.5 million guidance.

Did you drink bleach recently? :erm:

So what does this say for his theory? Are 'leftist views' actually really popular? :p
