Netflix will show new Top Gear

Don't have dstv anymore so good news to keep NetFlix.

jeremy's show will be the new top gear. the crappy old one we dont care about anymore :p

+1000. The characters made the old Top Gear, not the content. It was basically a comedy show featuring some cars.

No one else had talent? Writers, directors, lighting, editing, camera work. No one except that clown contributed?
I have to disagree I will watch the New BBC Top Gear out of curiosity, my suspicion is that it will still be good just different.

Who says we can't enjoy both if both are good?

Because there is only one each of Clarkson, Hammond and May.

And that's 3 clowns. ;)

Obviously you have some kind of unresolved hate towards Clarkson, but the rest of us can see the truth.

Absolutely with other presenters I would likely not have watched it, except maybe if it's Ant and Dec.

Who says we can't just watch what we actually find interesting instead of watching every piece of drivel instead? Rhetorical.

haha love Clarkson the stupid ape that he is, love old Top Gear. I simply cannot make my mind up about something that I haven't seen yet.

Clarkson reminds me of my favourite comedian Will Ferrell dammit they should have gotten Will Farrell to host the new Top Gear.

The trailer they released doesn't bode well. Looks awful.
 
At this rate Clarkson just has to show up and everyone will prefer the new show. Which is fine if someone has that kind of draw but atleast wait till you see what nonsense they come up with... what if it's a show about bolts used in cars and that's it. It could be a spanish soap opera. People are saying it will be great/better but they don't even know the format yet.

You do know that Top gear as the world loved it, stemmed completely from Clarkson.
 
If netflix SA gets it, well that will depend on DSTV's deal with the BBC.

I will give it a go and see if its any good.

Writing, directing and editing moved with C/H/M as they did the writing (Clarkson was the main script writer) , Andy Wilman also moved to Amazon and would have brought his core production team.

Much of the camera work was already freelance on the old TG so there's every chance they could have moved as well, at least in part as newTG/Amazon have the bigger budget and could afford to offer higher rates.
