Hello,
If there are any D6000 owners who have experienced this problem with this router please respond. I had the previous version of this router the VGN2200 which worked well for me. A lightning strike forced a replacement an ever since then my WiFi connections keep dropping intermittently. I am only using the 2.4Ghz band and the problem excarbates when I connect any wired devices. Even when the iPhones and iPads don't show a signal there is no problem with laptops running Windows 10 picking up the signal

Some netgear routers have shocking reliability issues. But yours seem newish, are you on FW 1.0.0.61?

I have exactly the same problem with an ASUS AC68U router intermittently dropping the connection to my laptop which is about 2 metres away from the router. I have reset it and rolled back the firmware but nobody seems to be able to sort out this issue including ASUS.
I am connecting with 2.4Ghz band. Very annoying and frustrating as I work from home. Any help will be much appreciated.

D6000 Stability

I have the exact same issue, DGN2200 worked well until it got hit by lightning.
Endless problems with D6000, have raised with Netgear support and no improvement at all.
Their solution is to get the unit replaced from where I purchased it.

Thinking of moving to another brand...

Guys I am having same issue at home and it’s really working on my nerves, I have the netgear DGN series WiFi router and it’s the second one same problem, followed the steps on Apple to configure router for iOS but no luck, I bought a TP Link from makro for work and iPhone stays connected all day not a single drop so I am planning on buying the same for Home. My wife’s Samsung doesn’t drop on the netgear though so I reckon it’s compatibility issues between the 2 vendors.
