I've got 2 adsl accounts so I put it into bridge mode using http://192.168.0.1/setup.cgi?next_file=mode.htm
Then as I disconnected from one of the isp's, I mistakenly clicked on the Lan one and disconnected from it :(

So just as a modem it works fine but now I have a problem, I can't login to the router at all. Which is what I will do on the 1st. Is there any way to solve this apart from resetting to factory default settings.

When I try I get:
Forbidden
You were denied access because:

Access denied by access control list.

I had to manually assign the LAN IP's below for my pc to even see the router

IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 169.254.209.185
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1

I've tried this IP as the Default Gateway 169.254.255.255
It was in my firewall log.

Yes, the DG834 loses all router stuff when you switch it to "modem" mode.

You should still be able to log into the router though.

From the sounds of that 169. address there's something gone screwy with your DHCP so maybe that's your problem at the moment. Was your DG834 doing DHCP as well? If not, what has changed other than the router?

the dg834 still keeps its DHCP server capabilities in bridge mode, try resetting the router
