Netgear DG834GU Bug With Win7

Whenever I reboot my PC I have to open my connections, disconnect and reconnect to get access to the router. Is this just Windows 7 or is the modem faulty. Thank you:erm:

Mmmm - I have a similar issue with my setup (Win7 64); I thought it might be my wireless pci card since it's old and a had a mission trying to get it to work (apparently Belkin don't do drivers for their cards...). Was going to get a new card, but maybe should check if I have the same issue under another operating system? Will probably test it out over the weekend.

Having the same issues here with all our PC's on Win7(64). My laptop running XP seems to be OK tho

Update the firmware:

DG834Gv5 (in Germany)

Latest firmware version supports Win 7. For installation, please log into www.routerlogin.net

DG834Gv5 (outside Germany)

Latest firmware version supports Win 7. For Win 7 installation CD, download ftp://downloads.netgear.com/files/DG834Gv5_CD_1.4.zip
