I used to use Netlimiter when I was still on XP, and haven't used it for a while now. I am looking at something like NL for Win 7.

Any suggestions?

Is there a way to monitor activity that takes place over my router? ie, wireless laptops

You can still install NL 2 on Win 7, just do the "run as administrator" thing . Turning off the UAC [user account control] while you install will also help. I am running NL 2 on Win 7, no hassles. I don't actually use the "limit" functions often, i believe that's where you might experience some crashing , but the statistics part works fine.

The beta doesn't have stats atm. I will try DUmeter for a day or two then switch over to networx. I like the fact that I can see usage per application on Netlimiter

Ja networx also do not have the usage stats per application, but at least its free unlike DUmeter. There is another one called NetMeter which is a lot like Dumeter but free: http://www.metal-machine.de/readerror/
