Hi.

I just got a new mac book pro running OS 10.5.7. at home I have 2 pc's one running XP and the running server 2003.

I can see and connect to all the shares on the XP machine but not on the server machine. If I go to finder I can see my PC there but when I try to connect it just fails

does anyone have any suggestions for me?
I have noticed when I log into the XP machine at the top it says logged in as guest, which is strange as I setup a normal account? I am very new to Mac so any advice would be helpfull

okay,well it works now...

Very important to remember is that if you cant connect thru the Finder use CMD+K and type in smb://"whatever your windows ip is" The username and password dialog box will then come up and you can then map a permanent connection.
