Do these new features apply to existing Premium subscribers or only news customers?

Asked earlier when i saw it listed under our 50GB Softcap tracker page. It is possible it is available but currently inactive. Edit: This is a SmartHome Premium package taken in February this year.

I understand when marketing people confuse 'free' with 'included' but for journalists to make that mistake is a concern.

When you're paying R999 per month for a service, there's nothing 'free' about what they throw into the mix

iPhone 4S. Thats like 4 versions behind the iPhone 6s
50GB on a 10Mbps line.
24 months

:sick::sick::sick:

This is so typical of many companies, advertise a new product/special, but we won't update our website. For an internet service?????

I don't understand why people are slamming Telkom like this? This deal is a bargain.

Normal do premium plus costs R699 which includes everything. It does NOT include a Calling Plan. So R999 - R699 = R300 a month for all these extras:

*Apple TV
*iPhone 4s
*2GB mobile data monthly
*150min to any network anytime monthly
*Microsoft Office for 12Months
*Adsl router
*3G modem
*Wifi extender
*Telkom anytime plan worth R70

After 24month you would have paid R7200 but get all the above included.... I don't understand how this is a bad deal.....

People read Telkom and just chose to bitch. It is normal here. I seriously expecting something ridiculous from Telkom until I opened the link.

Then bamboozlement at what the criticism was about. And finally realisation that South Africa's mathematics taught at schools was really really bad.

Telkom on a mission to keep everyone hooked onto them

Why? The maths is right, its just for the R300 bucks it got worked out on. 300 * 24 = 7200

That was my bad, I deleted my comment because the article said no further details were available from Telkom. I was waiting for the further details before I posted my judgment.

Apple TV - R1000
iPhone 4s - R2800
Adsl router - R400
3g modem - R300
wifi extender - R400
12 month office 365 - R1000
Total - R5900

rough figures but then left with R1000 which you are getting data, and minutes for about R50pm?
I suppose that is the only good thing about this deal.

Now take into consideration that they are advertising all of these things for free?
