Yeah if you get 10mps on speedtest then everything works full speed. I used for a while until I got my 40mps vdsl. I just needed more 10mps as my wife is on YouTube all the time lol

I might also be thinking about vdsl but only have a budget of R500... I don't think it's possible to get 10mbps or more for that price that includes everything

Their limit on streaming bugs me, I have 2 streaming devices that operate for periods at the same time, sporting events etc.

Then I have 2 kids playing online games watching YouTube, Twitch etc. So 10mbps, is limiting in its own right. I stream at 720p simply so that everyone is kept fairly happy, even if both devices can handle 1080p.

This I do on a 20mbps VDSL line, and I manage to keep everyone happy mostly. Which is all I want to do. 1080p streaming all the way would be nice, but 720 is good enough, as fiber not yet available here. Would be nice to have a LTE solution in the mean time. Copper has been put on notice.

Really?? But how considering even the rain rep here says only 360p

No idea, I think they say 360p to protect themselves from possible poor network performance and upsell people to 5Gb maybe. You need to select 720p but it does work.
