How will this effect promotions?

Cell C has these promo's on weekends where you can get, for example, 10 Gigs of data for like R60 but it is only valid for the weekend. Would these still be allowed? The weekend time frame is clearly stated as such and is a great way to go nuts over the weekend. I'm all for the regulations but we may also be removing the networks ability to offer these sort of promotions
