New DStv Rewards system - free package upgrades

I think this so called rewards scheme means fark all, just some window dressing to look cool or current. I am on their Super Star level on 75 points. All rewards I can see is stuff like R75 off on Uber Eats, which means nothing to me. Where I stay isn't in their service area. Or I can rent one Box Office movie and then get one free or R200 off on tech help from an installer. Whoop! I already have a perfectly good installation, why would I have the need for an installer?

It would have been worth the while if I got discount on my subscription or something like that. I cannot upgrade, because I am already on the Premium package.

I had an option for a subscription discount together with all the other ones?

Nope, I just checked again. Under "Available Rewards" I have 4 available. BoxOffice Movie on us, Explore the Legacy mansion to win prizes, Uber Eats R75 off and R200 off for Installer Voucher.

Not sure I understand. So can you get it every month or is it like one month and then it becomes available again when you've accumulated enough reward points?

You get this every month. But if you do something to go down a level it falls away, if you do something to move up a level, you get 20% discount.

I don't think the stars are calculated monthly. It will kind off stay what it is untill you do something that changes it. Like upgrade or sign a debit order etc.

Ok, this whole system is still confusing to me.
