The concept s very appealing with special reference to the fact it addresses the current global food crisis and projects the future scenario.
Another factor that worthy of mention is: Views planet earth as a global village and hence adopts an all-encompassing perspective.
However, I hope the reality of what's called smart foods are NOT GMOs or Monsanto patents. I would advocate ORGANIC SMART FOODS.
We (the human race) need to consider the poor as well especially, those living below the breadline.
I am not suggesting that they beg for all & sundry, but the genuine poor may be hard-pressed economically & have to be empowered to help themselves by BEING PROACTIVE.
