If I was at home and had access to my EPG that would be ok...

But I am parking off at work and can't get to it atm.... therefore the need to plan my evenings viewing. :p

There will never be a single device dual-view HD Decoder..

and the new HD decoder is going to be EXACTLY the same as the current one with a slightly faster processor, but the functionality will be identical.

Never...?!! Why ? - surely it's technically possible. After all, it's just a dual-view PVR with HD capability, not so? In these times of soaring energy costs & environmental crises, having 2 devices generating the kind of heat (~ power consumtion) that MC decoders do just seems such a wasteful implementation (apart from also being void of elegance).
By not offering a single-device dual-view HD solution, ironically MC is displaying total indifference towards the critical global environmental threat we're facing, despite this being one of the most prominent subjects on the very channels that MC broadcasts. :wtf:

But good luck to all waiting for the competition. You are waiting for nothing IMO.

+1

Sometimes its better to live in the "now" than waiting endlessly for the others and 3 HD channels are better than zero hehe.

Quoted for truth.
And contrary to popular belief, your monthly subscription for the 3 HD channels is exactly the same as for the normal SD PVR i.e. you're not paying extra.

Of course you don't, unless your second decoder is a PVR of some kind.....

I think most people are just negative about Xtraview because its "new" and all that...

But I must be honest I think its actually a pretty good solution from Multichoice...
