New Laptop R15 000 limmit

No, I'm not going to do a lot of PhotoShop stuff. I'm not a graphic designer. I do a lot of programming (Read Visual Studio, and Eclipse). I do a bit of gaming (If I want to go over board, I'll play on my Rig). If my Laptop can't do it, I'll fall back to my little Gaming rig.

I can get an Acer with the specs I'm looking for from Esquire at just over R15 000.

I'm not willing to drop my spec's at all. A 1TB HDD and a 128GB SSD is a bare minimum for me. Also, you don't get 1mb or 2mb graphics cards.

Awesome. Also looked at an Asus a while ago. Where did you buy from? A retailer, or distributor? Also, is it a full HD the screen? How many HDD's can it take? How is the battery life, and how many ram slots does it have?

Bought it from the online shop called PCLink Shop and the link in my last post is to the exact machine I bought from them. The screen is FHD but it only comes with the 1TB HDD and can only support one HDD. Great battery life thus far and it has two RAM slots for upgrading the included 8GB to 16GB at a later stage. IMO ASUS is one of the leading notebook manufacturers.

Maybe you meant "MacBook Pro"? Their build quality is great but their pricing is horrendous!
