Yeah, the heading was to make it sound catchy.

New TelkomInternet site...

www.telkomsa.net

EDIT:

Looking at the site, it seems its just a new template, and all the information is still the same, there is still old links etc and old information on the page.

I must admit though, it does look a bit better. Why are they still advertising 192kbps? Trying to make their 384kbps offering look like a great deal :p

Not that I want to come up for them but it is a good looking site. A huge improvement from where they were.

I see the site does look alot better, but could someone please explain what on earth is up with the downloads section?

The impressive lists reads: Internet Explorer 6, Netscape, MSN Messenger 6 and Direct X 8.0a
Why does Telkom want peopel using the old MSN or ancient Direct X? And only Listing Netscape as the alternative to IE, What about Firefox or opera.. I guess Telkom are just an IE kind of company.. makes sense.

damn, R79 for dial up, I last used dial-up in 2000 - 2001 at those prices, Mweb, Absa, disgusting that they still charge that.

Now you know what they spend all their money on. Actually, I doubt it cost much to redesign that site.

You know what, I am going to stick around for a while. SNO will not see me. Can not see myself starting from scratch and building a customer relationship with a new company all over again.

Been part of the ISP since the Intekom days. Used basically all their products, from dialup, R7 Call Plan, ISDN, ADSL, Webhosting, Domain Hosting ... am rather satisfied.

I guess every company has its up and its downs every now and then, but what I see makes me want to stay and see what happens, who knows what other suprises they may come up with. I think this might be the first of many changes, can be wrong, but it makes me curious. Usually a change like this is followed by another and another and another ...

<keep'in my eye on the horizon> ... haha, feel like the dude from Lord of the Rings ....

I think it looks much better! The old site is crap but why could they not update the data.

I wonder when they are going to have a price drop... IF...

All those millions of Rands and they can't even code a website that works with Firefox or Opera ...

(Drop down menus are hidden by a layer - I guess their web developer does his/her testing with IE instead of a W3C compliant browser.)
