Its called supply and demand
Its called supply and demand
Are there more sensible cars for the price. Yes there are. Do they have a fraction of the mustang wow factor. Yes
More sensible? The mustang goes from R700K - R900K. You can get a Jaguar F-type for that price.
*cough*
Not new you can't. R916000 for the base model without any extras.
LoL so R16 000 is going to break the bank when you spend R900K. The base model F-type is much, much superior than the top of the range mustang. The Mustang's interior is craaaaap.
And that was one example. If you have R900K and you even consider the Mustang you deserve what you get.
It's actually R925k if you read Fiestast's post. Point is it isn't in the range of R700k to R900k new.
Aha I see...S5 power very comparable to the 2.3 EcoBoost of the 'Stang at least.

Doesn't the s5 do sub 5sec 0-100? Mustang does it in 5.5
The Audi website sucks -_-
http://revdata.com/compare/2015-audi-s5/vs/2015-ford-mustang
LoL, according to that data the Audi cost double that of the Mustang. Here they cost the same :O

*cough*
Depends if we are talking Coupe or Softtop.
S5 Coupe (claimed) 4.9 secs to 100km/h
S5 Cabriolet (claimed) 5.4secs to 100km/h
Not sure why the discrepancy....

The extra weight for stabilizers. Cabriolet's are always slower than the coupe.
