New Rain LTE-A deals – 110GB for R549

I am actually considering this because Rain LTE-A is the only service that seems to be available to us in these remote farms. No ADSL or Fibre or anything that fast in these parts and we are not covered or are deemed too far for anything better than 3G. Currently mobile has been the only way to go. I would go as far as putting my money in and betting on this horse. It can only get better and hopefully cheaper.

So hang on a second? CW gives you double data till November 2017 but Webafrica until 2018? Can we confirm that is not a mistake?

Nothing on Webafrica website so i think that November 2018 is a mistake....tried to chat with webafrica but the chat just gets closed everytime.

Can the rain come to the South of JHB.

Heard any news today on Telkom's new August deals??

Site is being updated now as we speak. ;)

Good to see more RAIN [GBs] coming down now. Let's see what MWEB does since they lowered the price of the router quite abit.

If this provides a more rural option, this could be part of the answer to extending the reach to parts of South Africa without access. It certainly sounds like it is a competitive alternative to those who previously could only access the internet through Vodacom or MTN.

Will check with our Meteorologist ;)

WA is still showing old prices.. not updated

Finally competition in the LTE space. Waiting for the Empire(Telkom) to Strike Back before deciding

Just to clarify:

1. Existing Crystal Web RAIN customers will receive double their data from 1 August 2017 until 30 November 2018.
2. New Crystal Web customers signing up between 1 August and 30 November 2017 will also receive double their data until 30 November 2018.

You are welcome to post any queries in our thread: https://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/902995-Double-Data-Promo

This actually looks a lot better now with some extra data. Not good enough to make me drop BitCo but getting closer!

After all the negativity I have felt for Rain - I must say well done! The initial offering flopped so they revised it...now just let us use our own device and offer a 20gig option.
