New range of BlackBerry 7 smartphones unveiled

ooooh whats new here i see the same old 2008 design , primitive devices that.
 
All they need now is for developers to start showing a interest in making app's.
 
OMG that Bold 9900 looks sweet!!! Can't wait... For those criticising RIM for the same form factor, well I love it and its one of the reasons I prefer a BlackBerry and I'm sure I am not the only one. This is GREAT new for BlackBerry fans!!!
 
Good improvement but still behind where it needs to be. I will wait and see what the new iphone has to offer as a bb replacement. Problem is bb is great at what it does in terms of email + push services etc but the tech is one generation behind iphone currently. I think RIM needs to limit their model range to these three devices in future and then improve the heck out of the os etc. The new bb bold looks good btw. if they can up the ante in the US(and os dev) they will get the app dev to happen.

These are just the premium devices and RIM would be making a mistake dropping the Curve range. I agree with you though if you include the new Curve.
 
How long will these take to get here to SA? I waited 6 months for the last lot...bloody useless! We need these here ASAP!!

The form factor rocks. And the devices are solid. I might also just get one of the new BB7 devices after all... Will see which comes first BB7 or N9
 
Got to play with a 9900 running OS 7 recently... It's super-slick. SO NICE! Very very pretty... mmmmmm.
I love my Torch though, not sure if I would switch to the Bold 9900... Maybe the Torch 2.

I love my Blackberry.
