New rules for all co.za websites and ISPs during coronavirus outbreak

I have decided to add the link to my non-'503' co.za sites, but it will only be done so throughout the day later today. My only qualm is with the web design/development company having their link in the sacoronavirus.co.za page. They don't even link to sacoronavirus.co.za. This website should be wholly in the government's property (and domain) regardless of who is the designer or developer, or maintainer. Free advertisement, I'm sure the government paid plenty, but probably came to poor terms in respect of their project.

Anyway.

All licencees need to zero rate education websites? That's going to be difficult. Surely she should have gazetted which websites these include like wikipedia. Without it that rule at the last minute before it is made legal is rather pointless.

This sounds more like she wants to join in on the Corona party but is rather clueless what to ask for..
Why?

The rest of this cluster**** was implemented at a level of complete incompetence, why would some muppet with a title get specific and accurate now?

https://www.zadna.org.za/ hasn't got anything on their site that links to sacoronavirus.co.za so I think I'll wait until they do before I waste my client's money :cautious:
Yup, this wasn’t very well thought out.... and to impose a law that’s ambiguous, technically incorrect and within such short notice in a time when most staff are off is irresponsible.

by when must these changes be done, until when, and what if you don’t have them done etc etc

Biggest bullshit in the history of Bullshit. Never in my life did I ever think I would see this kind of emanate from the ANC but they never fail to surprise.

Dear Government .. Due to the mass exodus of skilled developers leaving the country, the 16 developers left in ZA are unable to change a gazillionty and twelve websites before the lockdown. Please note, we have managed a non techincal solution where we have asked all south africans to stick a postit note with the web url in the top right corner of their screen.

Yeah I think most if not all companies will ignore this, bigger **** to worry about than to link to some 8th grader's school project website.
