Thief, hijacker and accident magnets too, lol.
The 'thief and hijacker' part is not least because there are so many of them on the road ... that's simple maths. But I'd LOVE to know how you got to 'accident magnets'. I've never heard that one before, how are Polos less roadworthy than your average B-segment hatch?

The accident bit is probably also due to the numbers and they are relatively affordable for wanna be boy racers who can't afford a GTI or other golf.

Honestly a Polo is surprisingly peppy. I got the 85kw/200Nm version, and that's more than enough to get into some big trouble racing all the slow Fortuners and Rangers in town :D However it's an exceptionally stable and planted car, so I don't think the 'accident magnet' part is true. Unless you're talking Polo Vivos, which is a different market entirely.

Doesn’t the previous model Polo essentially just become the next Vivo?

Yes or kinda. the shape and everything else is the previous model polo. but the materials are not, go sit in a vivo and you will see a kwid is no better in terms of the quality of the materials.
