Anyone in Cape Town want to share the R99 delivery fee if I buy more than one new battery for my Zest T1? Battery is R171, delivery R99. I don't want to spend so much on delivery and am willing to buy two or more batteries if there are definite takers. I work in Maitland close to M5 off Berkley Rd, but drive the Atlantic Seaboard, Cape Town, Belville, S Suburbs areas as well. If there two or more takers, I would suggest accepting R200 per battery, preferably collected, but if I'm in your area, we can meet up.

Once I have my new battery I'll be able to palm the phone off on someone at work without feeling too bad. The old battery gives me 1 hour of screen time :wtf:

No takers, looks like on Monday I'll have to fork out a courier fee that increases the battery expense by 58%! I wish Zest could sort out their logistics and their relationship with Incredible Connection; WHY can't they send a battery to one of the IC branches along with a few phones when they do???? Or just allow Takealot.com to sell them, even at R200, with free delivery, I'd be happier to pay.

They resellers on takealot. If you unhappy with the product you return it back to takealot and the reseller gets screwed over. Thank goodness I returned the device back. It would have been a headache using the phone.

my problem was buying a phone designed for the casual user and using it for work. The T1 battery couldn't take such high use.

In case anyone had the vaguest interest. I didn't order a T1 battery. What if it's the power adapter in the phone that is not reading the battery voltage correctly. Then I buy a new battery and the phone damages that one too? So I just bought a 10000mAh battery from Esquire for R199+ Vat. It keeps my phone alive while I keenly search for an upgrade.

Only question then is, do I make an HD clip of my T1 being crushed by a car tyre or by a 4 pound hammer?

Oncoming truck at high speed or traintracks ftw
:-D
May want to arrange some Matrix style 360° revolving camera freeze frame at the point of impact. "The ExorZest..."

I'm actually pretty happy with my T1, but the battery also only lasted about a year. Considering that it's only a 1000mAh battery they put in there to begin with and that after a year i still get about 4-6 hours use out of it (casually), i can't complain.

I do have a question though, what type of battery do i need to buy? Are they all the same? Thinking about form and size etc.

Mine was a 1600mAh battery. I tried the local Pakistani repair shop. He tried a smaller nokia battery with similar contact points, but couldn't make it work.

Hello Mate.

Could you tell me where you can get batteries for the phone.

Try Incredible Connection. Failing that, contact Zest directly, if they're still in business.
