Hi Guys,

I visit zambia on buiness and have arranged roaming for their network. During my last trip, when trying to connect using the *99# number, logging on stops at "authenticate" and I received a 619 error.

Should I be using other dialing rules or change configurations?

Any assistance is most appreciated.

Pls just remember that roaming is not R 2.00 per MB ;)

Pitbull, thanks for the reply, cost is not an issue in my case, however access to my mail and internet is whilst in Africa.

Just got confirmation no GPRS roaming coverage by MTN. Any idea if Vodacom has?

"Yello

We do not have a roaming agreement with Zambia for GPRS, is only Voice calls and SMS.

We have 2 Roaming partners in ZAMBIA. Choose one to stay connected for those all-important calls, SMS and the international emergency services.

Celtel Zambia Ltd.

TELECEL ZAMBIA

Thank you for contacting MTN Network Quality and Coverage Helpdesk."
