Hi guys, I have a shiro ADSL modem that plugs into the PC via ethernet. to be able to play online with my PS3, I bought a Wireless N Access Point. When setting up, I'm supposed to be able to set up the modem by putting in 192.168.2.1 but it shows that there is a connection error and doesn't get into the modem to do anything.
What am I doing wrong and what must be done correctly ?

Thanks in advance.

Make sure to set your Ethernet adaptor on your PC to the same subnet. So make its IP 192.168.2.2 and connect the wireless N directly to you pc. Try access it again to set it up.

I tried and it asks me if I want to :
Connect, or cancel, or work offline. That's when I enter 192.168.2.1 in the address bar on IE.

I may be understanding you incorrectly - so this may be trivial - but try accessing 10.0.0.2 instead of 192.x.x.x. Thats if your trying to access your modem. However if it's the access point - then you may need to get into those settings to enable it as either a DHCP client, or give it a static IP. To do so, connect the AP directly to your PC via ethernet, and set your IP on your PC to 192.168.1.xx (check manual) then try accessing 192.168.1.2 and there you will be able to setup the AP.

Hope it helps
