News 24 ceased working on iPad

Hi, two days ago News24 ceased to open on my ipad. Contacted them but no response. Anybody else out there experiencing the same problem?

just checked mine, works fine. maybe uninstall and reinstall? but reboot after you uninstall and before you reinstall.

Hate News24, used to kill my battery on Galaxy Not, so uninstalled it.

Also had periodic problems with it, but to be fair, could say the same for EWN and other local news apps. Sometimes you just have to wait for an update.

iOS is such a small pool here in ZA, so understandable that they probably focus on getting things right 1st on the other OSs...

Huh...no ways...have to disagree there. Not small at all in ZA; much more so older devices

I dont understand why you have a news app installed in the first place?

step 1 set up feedly wiht all the news sites, so you can NOT listen to news from the South aFrican version of the DAily mail (news 24 as a group)
check feedly when you want news, profit.

alternatively, google now, and chrome on Marshmallow can give you breaking news as system based updates if you set it up correctly.

I just honestly do not see the point of having an App for EWN, an App for "news"24, and app for mail and Gaurdian, and app for mybroadband. its just pointless.

feedly for all news (or google now if you are using a good OS)

True this. Use Feedly for everything else - may as well throw the current events in as well!
