EDIT: Do I have to use PeerBlock when using NZBs? I was using Peerblock a few minutes ago and I couldn't connect to SAIX. Should I refrain from using it while GrabIt is running?
Any input on that?
And today, I am getting a very slow speed and frequent disconnections to SAIX. When it connects, I get not more than 11kB/s. But Peerblock is not running. Is it because I'm DL'ing an iso image and that there may be hudreds of people trying to get it as well?
Use alt binz.
It alows multiple NZB's(lol), it auto-folders, auto unrars, auto-deletes the parts after un-rared.... all you have to do is drag the NZB!
Try Altbinz if you're having trouble with Grabit. I've been using Grabit since I started ('cause Garyvdh recommended it) but apparently Altbinz does everything automatically and a lot easier.
I prefer to disable automatic unraring. I then delete all the Par2s from the batch and download as I need them. It's my preference, maybe something else will work for you!
Geeeeeezzzzzzzz.....Anyone else having issues connecting to the IS news server on Afrihost?
It wont connect for ages then spikes full speed for a short while and then "connecting" for an hour or two before the next VERY SHORT spike!!!
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG.....I've been having these issues for the past 2 days.
Moral of the story: don't download uncached contentBut yes, I've been battling with IS for a day or two now as well
