I have my Capitec card on PayPal, it was easy to add, I used it just yesterday.

I bank with Standard Bank, and no "embossed card" to use.

But as i said, im not that keen, so i wont go out of my way, NGN was just convenient because of Pay Fast.

Maybe you should just try, it should take you two minutes.

You don't need an embossed card or anything.

There is a thread on this very forum from two years ago where a user said it took him all of two minutes to link and verify his Standard Bank card.

I might be completely wrong here but I swear it's not that hard.

Create a PayPal account and then verify it.

When you verify it you just add your details and link your card.

PayPal will then charge your account a small amount I think it's $2.

You then check your Standard bank notifications/statements, this will show you your verification code, enter this code and you're ready to PayPal.

No going into a branch or anything.

Having and using a PayPal account isn't the same as linking your PayPal account to your bank account. The latter may require going into the branch if you're going to accept payments on PayPal and want the money to go into your bank account. As a consumer making payments you just do it all online as been mentioned.

I run 2 x block accounts on my feralhosting seedbox and on my 100Mbps fibre line at home. At home I max my fibre line @ 13MB/s and on feralhosting seedbox I max out at 23MB/s which is pretty decent.

free-usenet is really not that bad actually. I guess a astraweb will also work just a well if you need a unlimited monthly package but really depends I guess.

That said the free-usenet.com double bonus that is currently active is great value for money.

I bought a 1TB block that should last almost a year for the same price I always paid for a 40Mbps three month account.

I just use news.is.co.za.....totally free. And it works all the time.

Yeah great if you use Telkom or IS but if you don't then you stuck with paid only options. I use A360 fibre so no usenet options for me I have to buy a premium usenet account.
