dissappointed cos when I loaded I didn't get any extra char slot and my account shows that I don't have access to the game, nor did I get my pre-ordered packs extra char slot which was promised that I would receive ONCE I enter the nightfall key

P.S I did mail ncsoft for a response

Fishy, it kicks in once Nightfall goes live, AFAIK.

I didnt get any of my stuff either. Hopefully we get it when nightfall goes live! I might wait a bit before I play Nightfall to avoid the rush because I bought WoW last week and am going to try it tonight for the first time.

just checked this morning as PDT 12am = 6am for us

I got my 3 character slots :w00t:

but damn I think it's another 500mb downloads yet again

P.S they nerfed 55hp farming and solo tank (troll/Vermin) farming

Got mine and while playing last night I must say I really like allot of the changes, they seem really cool. Some people are already petitioning though :/

I didn't have to do any big downloads at all, at most it was 100MB or so, definitely not more than 150MB.

The total download I had to do was in the region of 600mb. After installing it I left it in the logon screen though, so that includes the background downloads

yeah I had to reinstall as my previous version corrupted and I was getting a 3d block in place of characters and my henchies was running and jumping around like a monkey

Hey, that also happened to me not too long ago....!!!
NPC's kept on jumping and rejumping to the same spot the whole time.
Also had to redo, nothing else worked.

Did you check to see if your GW.Dat file was fragmented? I usually keep spare copy on another drive just in case something happens

Uhm, of course... think I mentioned this, and my previous post, in another thread as well.... but here it goes again

At that time my gw.dat was in 10500 pieces (fragmented).

Fragmented gw.dat files have been known to cause lag as well... and this is the last thing people will think of. I didnt have lag though I only had the damn NPC's jumping all over the place...
Started happening during an UW run

That happened to me but mostly in Prophecies tho... in factions all the enermies would dissappear and I would see a 3 dimensional block in place of a human char in the towns (not all chars)

so I had to recopy a new version...

oh and GW kept having to repair itself each time I opened up the game

Sometimes what we think of as lag, is actually the game itself running slow. This can be caused by a large number of things.

When this happens to me I do a registry cleanup and defrag my file. Also clean up your cookies, because you wont believe how this affects your speed because some of them is constantly being updated.

ye, had some of these as well... and the damn repair took 20-30 mins!!
