I recently received a first notice informing me that my vehicle had been photographed going at 101km/h in a 60 urban zone. It states that no admission of guilt is possible and I will be issued with a summons.
Has anybody had any experiences in this regard? I can't for the life of me think why I would be going that fast in that area, and there is another car right next to mine in the picture that was supplied, not sure if thats relevant.
As I said, I have not yet received any summons, but would appreciate any information regarding how to proceed in this matter. Would it be a matter of appearing in court, stating my remorsefulness and paying a fine, or would I be best served by taking up legal council? Additionally, would there be a potential criminal record arising from this?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I am stressing balls.
