No load shedding at ministers’ residences ‘because they have to be available 24 hours’, says government

We are very meek as south Africans really. We moan and grown and that's about it. Other places storm the capital and assassinate people.
Our voters loot when they are unhappy. But won't touch their chiefs.

This national keypoint ruling is just abuse now. The Zuma ministers used the national keypoint rules to shield the Zuma from scrutiny.

I once lived nearby a children's hospital and never experienced loadshedding because of it. Those were great times.

They probably spend all their time in the Ministerial houses where everything is paid for, so the reasonable explanation, really does nothing to make things better.

Comrades!' he cried. 'You do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a spirit of selfishness and privilege? Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a pig. We pigs are brainworkers. The whole management and organisation of this farm depend on us. Day and night we are watching over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink the milk and eat those apples.

Didn't Ramaphosa say the ministerial exemption would end with only hospitals exempted?

Most probably because the Ministers were already exempt.
But it now seems they want to continue with the exemption in contradiction of his comment that everyone but hospitals would be load shed. Though to be honest, the leeches will just have backup systems installed at inflated priced and our expense.

Public servants (yes, that's YOU politicians - you serve us, and are paid by us) should only be allowed to use state (their) provided resources, including power grid, hospitals, schools, roads and travel options. Anything they'd like extra should be for their own account.

They are not elected public servants, there to serve us like garden boys or something.

This is our leaders, kings and queens. They deserve wealth and luxury due to their status.

It's just playing with words, the Minister's private homes are still not spared from loadshedding, homes they don't stay in anyway because there's another home with free utilities that's spared from loadshedding, so he will probably say he was talking about that.
