Way to hit the ground running,
One thing we all tired of is VIPs in expensive cars, on their way to unimportant meetings.

Next thing, sell all the x5's and buy accents powered by cng
As official vehicles.
Saw the other day a police accent with CNG on the back.

Mr. Msimanga should read up what he can and can't do.

Sure he can, it's his jurisdiction.
Not for everything. He can stop blue light brigades for councillors and city officials simply by issuing a city fatwa, but not provincial or national.

Actually to a large degree he probably can at the national and provincial level by getting Metro police to enforce traffic laws properly, since most blue light convoys are not really legal in the first place as far as I understand the law.

How about the VP? Someone is stretching the limits of his power a tad.

See it on busses as well now, compressed natural gas
Stops them selling the fuel in their cars, as they can only refuel at the depot.

This is interesting, didn't know this.

DA loves their Bylaws. Would be surprised if this couldn't be implemented as a bylaw.

Check it out, it's a small green sticker, where the badge usually is,
Very quietly introduced,
Up to now only on busses but I saw a police marked accent with it the other day.
So no more x5 and ml320 and 7series bm,
Back of a Hyundai for them.....
