Hiya everyone,

I really hope someone can help me, as Google has not been much help...maybe Im not adding the right keywords to search on, I dunno?

The problem I have is on our Windows WebServer 2008 R2. I need so add ODBC DSN's for our server, and when I go into:

ODBC - System DSN - Add

It only has 1 driver listed, and thats for SQL Server. There are meant to be a whole heep of them, but there is only 1 listed. Does anyone know how I go about installing all the other ODBC drivers that need to be there? Im really lost  I thought it would be the MDAC that need to be installed, but we have Office 2007 on that web server (with MS Access), so it would have installed MDAC with Office.

Cheers
CF

For anyone wanting to know, I found part of the solution. Sheesh....2 days of Googling on/off.

We are running a 64 bit version of the OS. There are actually 2 directories, one for 32 bit files/applications and one for 64 bit files/applications. For some reason, when you go into Administrative Tools - ODBC, it opens the 32 bit version on the 64 bit OS. Makes no farking sense....typical MS to fark it up. Anyways....under Windows - SysWOW64, there is an exe named odbcad32.exe. This is the 64 bit version, although some threads says its the other way around. Have not got it working as yet, as it seems to be defaulting to the 32 bit version of the ODBC. Now to figure out why its doing that, and where to change this on the server. Oy....
