No Ports Available! :( what now? I want ADSL, Lag Sucks on Wireless!

I ordered adsl but now there is no ports available! Is there anything I or telkom can/will do?

1) Wait for Telkom to upgrade your exchange
2) You force them to upgrade /evil grin
3) Aske for Wimax if your area has coverage

You grit your teeth, wait patiently and one day someone from Telkom will phone you and ask if you still want the line as they have finally upgraded/installed ports

FCK I Hate living in this 3rd world country!!! telkom will never get round to upgrading the dslam. moving is not an option, so guess wimax is the only real alternative.

I stay very close to Rosebank, where Telkom/IS's JHB exchange or data centre was situated, and 2 years ago when I applied they also don't have ports for me.

Hey i got an idea for you if you can find the dslam and its like less than a km from you you can always tap the thing just like the squata camps do with electricity
