WELL will anyone at mtn help me sort out my problems with their ****ty network, or am i going to switch to vodacom for my internet requirements?

Are youi from mtn and willing to help me? contact me, ill pm you my number so you can call me, coz your helpdesk is not worth the chairs they sit on.

Strange thing, p2p apps works 100% BUT i cant open any websites, resorting to virgin even tho slow, i can at least come online... guess ill be getting voda prepaid bundle next month

Try forcing your VM to 3G only.

I am on the VC network with a VM SIM at the moment at 3G/HSDPA speeds. Been like that for 5 days now.

Sony3G said that VM was too slow. I am finding it faster than MTN HSDPA on the VC network.

well its been 5 dsays now, been on the phone with mtn networking who spent 30 min on phone, with the conclusion that it must be my computers (does the same on 4 pcs, and why would other networks work as they should if it is my pc?

The issue has been resolved, or so it seems,

when my laptop internet (on the same phone and sim) started working again, i got it working on pc too. I am still sending you a pm with details so you can check if there was any network errors in my area, as alot of friend also complained about not getting internet to work, and saturday it was working again.
