Probably will be that way. But hopefully some SA firms get their act together and manage to get more competitive

Will the foreigners be tied down by the same myriad of laws as the local guys?

BEE ownership, BEE management, BEE employees, BEE whatever else?

Id like to see say a Norwegian consulting firm comply with BEE regulations....

nope... if our country wants foreign investment in this country in many cases they are forced to disregard these racist policies.

the goverment along with international firms are trying to work out some kind of agreement with regard to BEE. our goverment is loosing, which is pretty easy to do.

makes you think about barclays bank and absa eh :)
