I have no sound when watching channel 104 (MM2) on DSTV with the "Surround Sound" option set to ON (by default). If i switch it to OFF, I hear sound.
Other channels that have surround like MM1 (103) work perfectly with with movies that have Dolby Digital (amp picks the stream up as such) audio tracks or standard stereo/pro-logic. All other channels have sound as well.
The decoder is connected to the amp as follows:
DSD1110 connected via single RCA from its digital-audio out to the amp's digital audio in. If I connect the decoder via stereo RCA-cable, MM2 (104) has sound regardless of the "Surround Sound" option.
Multichoice says the decoder might be faulty. Anyone else with this problem? For me, I picked it up the past Saturday. Before that, MM2 had sound.
