No warranty on new fridge broken door handle

Give MYZ appliances in Vereeniging a call .Im sure they can help , never not been able to get parts from them ,from gas to stepper motors ,get the whatsapp number and send pics ,they are also Samsung agents .That part cant be expensive its a basic part .

The only product I buy from Samsung is a phone, too many horror stories I have heard about them.

Had also an issue with fridge repair. They do not sell parts so you're stuffed if fridge break. Was lucky insurance claim was ok and I insited on taking the money and not a replacement Samsung fridge.
Bought a LG fridge and could not be happier.
Samsung is all hot air.
Even the Samsung phone I have now is crap compared to my old Huawei P10.

I have since discovered that LG is good quality as well. I have a TV that is going on seven years now and a fridge going on 10 years.

I do like Bosch fridges , too.

Maybe give us detailed pictures of where the handle failed.
Like I said both my Bosch fridge and freezer handle are broken off, but I know it was because my small/short children pulled down on it while opening. Both handles broke when a kid was opening it.

Jirre you have strong children!
Or fat kids swinging on the handle ala Tarzan perhaps? :whistling:
 
I don’t like manufacturers that don’t stand by their products. I would rather spend more on a product of a manufacturer who stands by their product than any other. I only use a specific European brand of home appliances and I have had situations where I have emailed and said my kid broke this and I am looking to order a replacement. However, knowing these are to be used by families and kids I would expect them to withstand some manhandling and they replied and said we will come assess the damage. They did and fixed it. A lot of the times it’s the middle people that are annoying but then again I guess they instruct the middle people to be annoying.
