It's 32", so I doubt there'll be a huge difference with gaming on the PS3 between HD Ready and Full HD

The specs state:

Resolution: 1366 x 768

That means it's HD Ready. For gaming, I don't think there are many games (if at all) released in Full HD. I don't think the hardware can cope with it.

I believe that on the XBox, the MS imposed standard on game makers used to be HD Ready, but now they've relaxed this and allow slightly lower-res games to be released, because somehow they look better, or almost the same. I'm not sure about the exact details, but Google is your friend if you want to know more.

So a 32" HD-Ready LCD screen, IMHO, is perfect for gaming.
