theoretically. i've been dialling up on a speedstick via windows standard dialup and via the cellc software and have been battling to connect with standard dialup.
iirc there were some issues with settings which the cellc software sorted out.
maybe just give it a try with a payg sim before buying a bundle deal if that's where you're going with this...
just my 2c.

and what speed will i be able to get with the phone on the 900 ?

You have to either use UMTS (3G + HSDPA) or Dual Mode if you have good reception and it defaults to 3G or HSDPA.

You should be able to get the phone max of 3.6mbps. I have a 5800XM, but I haven't used it with my CellC sim, since I have a modem.
