Nokia 6120 classic - Not switching to HSDPA, 3.5G ?

Greetings,

Two Nokia 6120c's (which support HSDPA 3.6), both have 3G enabled and work with 3G, but only one switches to 3.5G when there's signal, the other doesn't. Both have vodacom sim card's. Both tested at exactly the same location (where there's HSDPA signal). Both sim card's have been used to downloaded at HSDPA speeds before, in other devices.

What could be the problem? To me it seems like a problem with the 6120c But how can I fix this? Surely not some hidden setting?

I can't remember the 6120c menu layout but look under settings, connections, packet data and ensure High Speed Packet Access is enabled.

Hey

I know the packet data menu, but not the High Speed Packet Access option! And I never thought to look under there.... and guess what, it was disabled! Good one, thanks!!!

It seems the menu option magically "vanishes" when 3G signal disappears, so thats proly why I never saw it before...
