I hear from reliable sources that MTN has this phone in stock , I've been waiting for almost 3 months now for an N73 or N95 or this phone.
I also see that MTN Walk-In Canal Walk staff have more than 1 "list" for this phone and as far as I know I am on all of them.
How do I secure my spot to get the phone as I requested it before said staff even heard of it and how do I negotiate a small or zero pay in on it considering my monthly spend is rather high.
Any MTN staff know about this model as yet and its availability or is it once again create hype and not cater for demand?

The E90 is listed in the latest Y'ello Trader at all MTN shops (in JHB anyway) at R2199 pay in on ProCall 120. You can probably negotiate lower rates on higher packages.

Quote from Auto Page.

We are receiving our stock in towards the end of July.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the pay in price for the Nokia E90 on Talk 240 is R2850 and the pay in on Talk 500 is R2225.00

R2199 is too high unless they can guarantee no comebacks , I'm tired of waiting in queues and generally dealing with incompetence and arrogance on the issue of billing and customer support when I visit MTN Walk-In Century City and I try to keep these events as minimal as possible (I tend to flash my own phone and do as little as possible to call 808 or even speak to an account manager)

I'd like to pay as little as possible and my phone is now 3 months overdue , whose arm can I twist so that I can wangle a way with the phone or what boss or line manager or divisional manager needs to throw his toys out the cot to satisfy me since its all chommie chommie anyways ?

I got an E90 yesterday at the V&A Waterfront, with zero wait. Try phoning a few other branches.

Very, very nice phone, if you can call it a phone :)

As I said , I refuse to pay R2200 for it , gave Italk a port to MTN for my dad's contract ( ProCall 120 ) , they owe us a phone and since he has a 6XXX flip fone already then I want to take this replacement but sure as hell not for R2200.

R1000 pay in is enough for it , my average spend on 3 contracts klaps that figure solid each month.

Dealt with MTN Walk-In @ SmartSurv building , they must accomadate me for once.

Got mine yesterday, maps are as good as can be expected. I doubt you can replace a R5k dedicated GPs with this, but if you're lost I do believe you'll find your way. The maps are the Smart2Go maps, but it comes with voice routing as well.
