Yup - even without the cover it's not a small phone, but it's the first useful phone that really can replace a good point-and-shoot, and a point-and-shoot alone is bigger than this thing. What's surprising is that Nokia seem to be ahead of even Canon/Nikon in this compact/miniaturization of imaging components.

I am very impressed, once a Nokia fan always a Nokia fan. This is a work of art, a camera that can shame some DSLRs and a phone that is extremely capable. Reminds me of why I loved my previous Nokia "sharp shooters" like the N82 and N8.

Hehe, BeVonk! The thick part is a clip-on extension specifically for one-hand photography. Great thoughtfulness and design. The phone itself is like the 920, only lighter.The thick part looks like it contains 2x AA batteries as used in cheap cameras. Hell no.
