nokia n95 8gb update assistance plz

hi guys got my awsom nokia n95 8gb for a week now am messin about with it and thought i should update the firmware... according to my firmware it is :
v10.0.021
29-09-07
rm-320

put in my device code at the nokia update page and was told that there is a firmware v11.0.026 available for my fone. i would like to know if it is necessary to update my firmware to the latest and if is so please assist me as to how i would go about doing it... would really appreciate your input and assistance

I have the phone too, its awesome, the GPS is very good, although I loaded the Garmin Mobile XT as it has speed trap warnings in it.

Before updating the phone, make sure you back it up to the hard drive of the pc, and not just to the phone. And there is a good chance you will lose the license to Spider Man because of the update.

hey kas i must say that i am very impressed with this fone havent as yet experienced any freezing and multitasking is a breeze i really love it, you wont make a mistake getting it..
i got it throught mtn on the procall 120 at R409.00 a month that includes the R2199.00 that was supposed to be paid upfront..
as for the gps navigator it works like a charm its free for 2 years... i have a garmin nuvi 360 and i must say the n95 8 gb navigator works the same.. it is precise when taking you to your destination .. hope this helps

mine has an annoying rattle/distortion on the EARPIECE SPEAKER , mostly happens when i call the MTN 808 support number, in most instances the call quality is perfect only the odd one will rattle/ distort ,

Earpiece speaker has been replaced , problem still there
